We met on the last Thursday of January 2016, to read the play reviewed as having "compassion, wit and a good deal of wisdom".
With the heating turned up, feather boa at the ready we started reading "Strippers" by Peter Terson .
Our casting, on the day, is always random. We decided to do it like this as it adds to our amusement. It was funny to find that today, one of our play-reader's characters required her to swear like a trooper, and to think that last time she had been concerned about pronouncing botanical names in case it sounded rude!
What a thoroughly entertaining way to spice up the often dull start to the year!
