Westley Heights Photo walk

On Friday May 8th we had a photo walk around the country park- at Westley Heights. Once again, our group was lucky that we had good weather.

After parking behind The Crown, Harvester, we crossed to the other side of Dry Street as the bluebells were more abundant over there. It was good to see that there was a large variety of wild flowers and trees. We were able to test our memories on which types they were. We still have a bird that we weren’t sure of, a tree we didn’t know and some oddities of bluebells that no one could explain.

It was a very successful visit and everyone enjoyed themselves and we learned a few techniques from each other.

The majority of us had lunch in The Crown and after we had eaten, Martin used his tablet to view some of the pictures.

All in all, another very successful day.
