Research Requests:
Appeal for old local photographs
Have you got any photos of the local area, local activities and events in the past that have not been published and you would be prepared to share with other members? Victorian photos would be very interesting but so would photos of a more recent date.
Old photos would not only be interesting for any research group which may be set up but also for members of the Family History Group who have ancestors who lived locally. One member is looking for photos of Mucking – in particular the cottages that used to be beside the sharp bend on Butts Lane close to the turning for Mucking.
Any photos could later form part of an exhibition for all members to view – if you agreed for copies of your photos to be displayed.
