Temporary changes to bin collections
Thurrock council have made some temporary changes to the way they collect household waste and recycling during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Your blue bin and green/grey bin will still be collected on your usual day every week.
Your brown bin will now be collected once every 2 weeks – weeks are listed below.

Please make sure your bins are out by 5am for collection
Please stay at least 2 metres from our bin staff as they do their work

You should put out your brown bin before 5am on the Monday for your ward, and leave it out each day until it is collected during that week.
Thurrock council cannot say exactly which day of the week your bin will be collected. There crews are working hard to collect bins as soon as possible, within the government coronavirus (COVID-19) rules.
