Cycling - Social Cycling
Group Convener - David Newton
The Social Cycling group meets every other Tuesday. Some rides start from Keswick, others further afield to take advantage of quieter roads. We usually cycle about 20 -30 miles. The pace, length and undulations of our rides will not suit everyone and our rides are not suitable for those on recumbent bikes. We always have a coffee stop at some point of our ride! We are a very successful group and numbers cycling are usually between 15 -25. The only requirements are a cycling helmet and a road worthy bike. If you would like any more information please contact me
Existing members will be emailed over the week-end prior to a ride of details of the ride but if any new members would like to join us keep an eye on the web site for details or contact me via the "contact" button under the cycling heading. Please keep checking the web page in case of last minute alterations
For the time being rides will take place within the current guidelines of no more than six in a group. This may mean more than one group on the same ride.
