Family History
Family History meetings start again after the August break.
Meetings are held at the home of Judith Tagg, 8 Emley View, Skelmanthorpe from 10.30 to 12.30 on the first Wednesday and third Friday of the month, starting on Wednesday 6 th September.
All are welcome at either Wednesday or Friday meetings or both.
If tracing your ancestors is something you are interested in, please come along.
Do you want to know your ancestors?
It's not about collecting names and dates, hurtling back to the Middle Ages as fast as possible.
We've all had the question "How far back have you got?"
We want to find out about their lives, to meet the ones that embarrass us, make us ashamed or make us proud.
Their stories are there to be discovered.
