Our first outside trip relating to the Historical Group was at the National Trust House - Packwood House on Wednesday 2nd October. We all met up at 10.00am in the car park and then given an extremely interesting private tour of the house where we discovered the history of the house and more importantly the story of the last owner Graham Baron Ash. He was a typical 'English eccentric' who family rose from humble beginnings to become a wealthy victorian industrialists.

Our first outside trip was such a success that it may become a more regular event.
