Tue Mar 3rd The next crib session will be held on Tuesday 3rd March at Shirley Social Club, Marshall Lake Rd, at 2 30pm. As usual, it is useful, but NOT essential if you can let Barry and Marg know if you plan to attend.

We play 5 games during the evening, and the winner at the end of the evening is presented with a much sought after trophy!

Wed Aug 5th Day Trip to Highgrove & Tetbury:
Visit HRH The Prince of Wales gardens at Highgrove and explore the Cotswolds town of Tetbury. Includes: Coach, Admission and 2-hour Guided Garden Tour (covers 2 miles over uneven and possibly muddy ground; There is no place to sit down or rest during the 2 mile guided tour.
Depart Solihull Train Station: 8.30am. Return:7:00pm Cost £61.50

Thu Mar 19th A visit to Gaydon Motor Museum starting at 10 30am. Cost £10. Travel by car.
Tue Apr 21st "Museum of Carpet" Kidderminster. Following the talk at the meetng in January we have arranged a visit to this museum.

Cost £7 50 to include tea and coffee on arrival, talk, demonstration and tour. We will arrange lunch at the "Lovefood Italia" afterwards.

Travel by train from Shirley at 9 41am to arrive at Kidderminster at 10 40am or from Solihull at 9 54am to arrive at Kidderminster at 10 46am

All meet at Kdderminster Station to take a short walk down Station Hill (5 -10 mins)
Wed May 13th John Taylor Bell Foundry Loughborough. Tour booked for 1 30pm cost £10. We are hoping to visit the Carillon Tower in the morning if work being carried out is finished. We have hired a coach at a cost of £17.00 pp for the return journey.
Thu Jun 11th Day out on the no.11 Outer Circle Bus Route with our very own No. 11 Bus and Driver. (Approx. 10am-4pm) Details to follow
Tue Jul 7th Steam Train Outing on the GWSR (Gloucester and Warwickshire Steam Railway) Travel by car to Toddington Station where we will meet at 10 30am for coffee in the Flag and Whistle Cafe.

Train departs at 11 10am to Cheltenham Race Course then back to Winchcombe where we will stop for lunch and freetime. Later travel back to Toddington arriving at 4pm. Cost of group ticket for the train is £18pp.
Walking
Tue Mar 10th Meet at 10.00 am at The Bear Inn, Spencer's Lane, Berkswell CV7 7BB. 5 mile walk with approximately 4 stiles. Lunch at The Bear Inn afterwards. Walk leaders Geoff Hopcraft and Roy Stiles.
