Arts Appreciation
Fri Apr 12th A group visit to the Birmingham Art Gallery to see a selection of drawings by Leonardo da Vinci in the Royal Collection. Birmingham gallery is one of only 12 galleries nationwide hosting this exhibition. We will also visit the Anglo-Saxon room to view the reconstruction of the Saxon helmet and see the incredible work of design artists from that period. Tea and discussion afterwards.
Meet in the gallery entrance at 2pm. Sign up sheet available at the Arts Appreciation desk at the core meeting in March. Free event.

Wed Mar 27th Annual Cribbage Tournament
Wednesday 27th March at 7:00pm at Shirley Social Club. . We will play 5 games during the evening and the winner of the evening will be presented with a trophy. Sheila (at the Social Club) has kindly agreed to serve food that evening. If you have ordered food, then Marg has your order. If you haven't ordered any and wish to have some, then please phone Marg Toft on 0121 744 1360 and I'll talk you through the menu options. Food will be served from 6 00pm and the kitchen facilities mean that there may be a wait involved - but the bar will be open!
If anyone else wishes to take part in the tournament, then please ring or email Marg Toft.
Tue Apr 16th Final Session in the 2018/2019 League Tables.
Tuesday 16th April at 2 30pm at Shirley Social Club. It is very crowded at the top of the league, so there is all to play for! At the end of the session, after a quick bit of addition, the top 3 people in the league will be presented with gold, silver and bronze medals, and the winner will receive the Anne Badger trophy.
