Pop up - Mindfulness practise
It's easy to stop noticing the world around us, to lose touch with the way our bodies are feeling and to end up caught up in our thoughts without stopping to notice how these thoughts affect our emotions and behaviour. An important part of mindfulness is reconnecting with our bodies and the sensations they experience, and re-awaking our senses to the present moment.
We do not have a formal mindfulness group or run mindfulness teaching sessions. However from time to time interested members gather together to do some mindfulness practise. These one hour practical Mindfulness sessions make use of various easy to do professionally based mindfulness exercises that are being taught around the world - and which are freely available online from the Mindfulness Research Centres of various Universities etc.
The next scheduled session will be advertised on this page in due course.
You can find out more by contacting the person who organises these irregular sessions using the bluebird email contact box on this page.
