Art Appreciation
The Group explores all aspects of art depending on members' interests.
In the current year we have looked at the work of artists from Arcimboldo to Ziegler by way of Brangwyn, Banksy, Goya, Kadinsky, Kauffman, Philpot and Sorolla. Recent sessions have covered sculpture, Street Art, Installations and in the coming months we plan to look at printmaking, architecture, comics and the illustration of children's books; robotic/immersive art. We have some expertise and rather more curiosity and enthusiasm – those possessing any of these qualities would be welcome, though we do currently have a waiting list.
