We all have a story to tell; every life is unique, every story important.
We can all write! As Mark Twain said, ‘writing is easy; all you have to do is cross out the wrong words’.
This group will meet on the third Monday of each month at 2.00pm in Room 2 Shoreham Centre. An email will be sent monthly to remind you of the date, please reply to say if you cannot attend.
The group aims to encourage members to make a start, or to continue, with their Life Story and persist to its conclusion. Experience shows that regular attendance at the meeting motivates members to achieve their objectives. Whatever is shared at the meeting is confidential to the members attending.
Along the way we always manage to have a lot of laughs while making special friends as we share some of the up and downs of our lives.
Families and friends may welcome the results and in years to come our memories will add to the social history of our times. Reading our stories people may well wonder, ‘surely they could not have lived like that?’ Just think of a life story that might have been written in 1850, 1910, 1940 or even 2000.
