Easy Outings
A new group starts in September 2024, with three activities planned so far, in September, October and November to see if there is enough interest. The group is called Easy Outings – trips that can take place simply with one bus or train ride, no payment in advance and anything or anywhere that looks to be enjoyable and interesting. If this proves popular, we are aiming for one visit a month, but cannot give a specific day as it will depend on the availability of the Venue and what is of interest there.
For example, in planning is a day out in Chichester, visiting the Cathedral, gardens and a walk round the Walls. Also a visit to Brighton Museum and for a real treat – the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
You can join in the whole day planned or just in the bits you are interested in. You can buy lunch out, or bring your own picnic. You can go and look round the shops, have coffee and cake, and you can go home whenever you are ready. Getting the idea?
