Coffee Morning
Sherborne U3A holds a monthly Coffee Morning on the third Wednesday of every month from 10.15 to 11.45 at the Cheap Street Church Hall. Come and chat over a cup of coffee and biscuits and find the latest news. Non-members are always welcome.
Art Talks and Trips
Jenny Newman’s classes are all full - BUT she repeats some of the talks as Pop-Ups, which are open to everyone. They are usually about current or forthcoming art exhibitions in London or more locally. Some talks focus on permanent collections. They take place in the Digby Memorial Hall, Digby Road between 5 and 7pm. They are also social occasions with wine and nibbles in the break. As this is not a U3A sponsored activity, there is no need to join an actual group. There is a charge to cover hire of the hall and refreshments (usually £9 per person per session). There is no ‘waiting list’ for Jenny’s U3A groups, but regular Pop-Up members are often invited to sessions in place of members who are unable to attend.
