German
The German Improvers course is for anyone with a good understanding of the basics of the language who wants to practice speaking, listening to and reading German. We meet on Tuesday mornings in a private house from 10 – 12, with a break for refreshments. We shall be using the second half of Willkommen 2, an intermediate course which covers topics based on contemporary German society. From time to time we also read German plays, short stories and poems.
The German Conversation group is more advanced, around A-level standard, and discusses newspaper articles etc.
