Sherborne

Discussion

There are two discussion groups in Sherborne U3A. Discussion Group A meets on the first Thursday of the month and Discussion Group B on the third Thursday of the month. The meetings take place in a private house in Sherborne at 2.00p.m.

The following are some of the topics that have been chosen by the groups:

What does it take to be a great leader?
How much will the result of the Scottish referendum affect the rest of the UK?
Immigration
Should happiness be a main aim in life?
Pets
Risk

When all the talking is done, we have a cup of tea and choose a topic for next time. The meetings are friendly, social occasions and give rise to plenty of food for thought.
