Looking at Art
Welcome to the Looking at Art Group page
Members of this group meet in each other's houses on the 4th Wednesday of the month usually in the afternoon.
We discuss the history of art from Greek and Roman times to the present day. All of us may not always like what we see but we give it a fair viewing and sometimes a little knowledge helps us appreciate it more. We occasionally visit galleries.
All members are encouraged to lead a session and often produce details of the artists' lives and works which surprise and entertain us. No previous knowledge is expected; we are not as po faced as this may sound; and new members are welcome.
