Shaftesbury & Gillingham

Herbs & Natural Remedies

The group meets once a month and looks to the natural world to help improve our lives. For example you probably already that lemons are good for colds; did you also know that the juice can help tenderize meat, clear dandruff, remove grease dirt from your fingernails, is antiseptic and can remove limescale. And what's more lemons are delicious flavouring for cakes and puddings.

Hitherto we have looked at the properties of various herbs, healing to be derived from crystals, diets such as Ayurveda and foods beneficial to a particular blood group, complementary therapies and colour vibrations.

There is plenty more to dsicover from our natural environment.

Please Note:
The group does not seek to solve any individual's issues or to promote any particular remedy. It is there to inform and help us all to learn in a general way.
