Health and WellBeing
As with all U3A Groups, we make every effort to share and grow our knowledge of each particular interest and this group met regularly, pre Covid, in Ceddesfeld Hall to advise, discuss and practice keeping healthy and active in both mind and body - particularly as age catches up with us. We hope that by helping, supporting and inspiring each other, the meetings are informative, relaxed and fun.
Several of our members prepared and led sessions in Mindfullness, Nutrition and Diet, Dementia, and various listening, memory and cognitive skills. We also invited a number of speakers to talk with us on a variety of allied topics.
however, to further grow this group we really do need some more members with health and/or wellbeing knowledge and skills who would be prepared to lead an occasional session or two and pass on their experience and understanding. Please do get in touch!
