LASTING POWERS OF ATTORNEY
You could spend a lot of money having a Solicitor prepare and register either or both of the LPAs or you could access these online and complete the appropriate forms and register them yourself for no more than the fee of £82 for each.
The best site is www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney which holds all the forms and a comprehensive help and advice guide.
You can complete the forms on-line but they will need to be printed off for signatures and then submission to the Office of the Public Guardian, the regulatory body. NB : it can take from 6-10 weeks for registration to be completed.
Please note that, because of the inherent restrictions to this website we cannot upload and store the forms as they are too 'big' for this system.
