Groups

Groups are established when a number of members with a common interest get together to decide how they would like to organise and manage their group. Some arrange visits to interesting or beautiful gardens and/or houses, others to exhibitions in museums and galleries, while many attend theatres and concert halls to discover, share and enjoy a wide range of drama, music and prose. Other groups will get together for lunches in local pubs and restaurants, whilst still others read and study books or work on creative writing and photography. And many of us look forward to the Wine Appreciation Group meetings.

Some of our groups link with Stockton U3A and the Bridge group is a joint venture with the village Community Association.

We currently have twelve active groups but are keen to introduce more groups as membership grows. If you have knowledge or a skill you are willing to share, or would like to take up a new hobby, please let us know and we'll spread the word among members and try to organise an appropriate group.
