The u3a is a nationwide movement which is composed of people looking to learn new things, enjoy new activities and meet others with the same enthusiasm to make the most of stage three of their lives.

It is a self-help organisation with members participating by sharing their knowledge, skills and experiences.
Seaford u3a was established in 1989 and now has approximately 400 members.

A wide variety of courses and home study groups are on offer as well as a social programme which includes monthly coffee mornings, guest speakers, a diverse programme of groups, trips and visits. Click on Programme to see the full Programme for 2023/2024. Click on Groups or Events to see current and new Groups or Events updated monthly.

We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and through them our members have access to events and to summer schools and seminars in London and elsewhere. The Third Age Trust also has links with the Open University.

A monthly newsletter is sent to our members, the website is updated regularly, and we have a monthly article published in the Seaford Scene magazine.

The annual subscription for Seaford u3a is £10. In addition there may be a small charge for each group a member wishes to attend as well as nominal fees for some of our social activities.
Members are invited to join us on Facebook to catch up on all the news and views - pictures from our latest events and dates for your diary.
