Welcome to the on-line home of Seaford u3a.

The u3a is a nationwide movement which is composed of people looking to learn new things, enjoy new activities and meet others with the same enthusiasm to make the most of stage three of their lives.

It is a self-help organisation with members participating by sharing their knowledge, skills and experiences.

Seaford u3a was established in 1989 and now has approximately 300 members.
A wide variety of courses and home study groups are on offer as well as a social programme which includes monthly coffee mornings, guest speakers, an annual walk, quizzes, a book sale and a diverse programme of groups, trips and visits.

We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and through them our members have access to events and to summer schools and seminars in London and elsewhere. The Third Age Trust also has links with the Open University.

A monthly bulletin is sent to our members, the website is updated regularly, and we have a monthly article published in the Seaford Scene magazine.

The annual subscription for Seaford u3a is £10. In addition there may be a small charge for each group a member wishes to attend as well as nominal fees for some of our social activities.
