Savoury snacks will be available. There is no charge and no need to book; members and potential members are welcome.
These are held on the last Friday of the month at the White Lion Hotel, 74 Claremont Road, BN25 2BJ. The next one will be on 26 August. They are organised by Michael and Thelma Miller, and to book a place, or for more information please phone: 01323 892 244. Please book between the 1st of the relevant month and the Sunday before the last Friday of the month.
This popular series will restart on 3 October, with Rosemary Leech talking about Mussolini. As usual, the talk will be followed by light refreshments, and there will be a charge of £4 at the door. More details of this, and future Tea Parties will follow.

EAST SUSSEX HEALTH WALKS
Free weekly one hour group walks led by trained community volunteers. No need to book, just pop along. A great way to gradually build a gentle, regular walking habit for the enormous benefits that brings to physical and mental health. Plus the groups usually go for a coffee together afterwards too!
We have a Health Walk every Tuesday in Seaford, as well as four in Eastbourne, one in Lewes and others nearby.
Over one hundred maps for one, two and three mile walks around local parks, woods, nature reserves and public footpaths.
To help people find a walk that they can manage in a time that suits them, especially great for people who are not already really strong or experienced walkers.
The maps are home-printed friendly (not too much ink, fine in B&W, only one page) or you can follow on a smartphone.
