Shaping future research about dementia and hearing conditions
This project is being carried out by the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and the University of Nottingham, in association with Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) and RNID.
A survey has been launched to guide future research about dementia and hearing conditions, given some people can experience both conditions together. The survey aims to collect people's main questions about the connection between dementia and hearing conditions (e.g., hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, balance disorders). People over the age of 18 who are interested in the topic can take part.
If you or someone you know might like to take part, or you want to find out more, please use the link (BSL version of the survey is available) https://www.jla.nihr.ac.uk/priority-setting-partnerships/coexisting-dementia-and-hearing-conditions/
If you have any questions or want the survey in a different format (e.g., larger font) please get in touch with Sian at sian.calvert@nottingham.ac.uk.
