The U3A in Scotland is committed to running two events each year, if possible. These are called "All Scotland Assemblies" and all Scotland-based member U3As can send a reasonable number of their members, subject to the capacity of the location. These events typically have a main speaker and then break-out workshops covering areas of relevance to organisation and governance of U3As.

A free light buffet lunch provides an opportunity for members to meet and chat informally with others. Many find this aspect very helpful in learning and exchanging new ideas etc.

We try to organise the All Scotland Events around the country to make them available to the maximum number of members.

We always welcome member U3As' suggestions of topics and locations.

The next Event will be the Annual General Meeting in East Kilbride on Tuesday 26 June.
