Quiz group
Quizzes are held every 6 to 8 weeks. Usually on a Friday afternoon at 3pm at £2 per person to include refreshments.
As a quiz venue the St Botolph's church hall worked well for us last time and the kitchen is good.
Last month's winning team are still basking in the Caribbean sunshine so for a chance of winning amazing prizes you need to turn out for a fun afternoon!

Typically around 26 people attend and teams of 3 or 4 are chosen on the day so anyone on their own is soon part of a team and it's a good chance to meet people. Nobody needs to worry that they are not brain of Britain! Aside from the odd frenzied attack on Eileen, the quiz mistress, whose decision is of course final, quizzes are light hearted and fun with jokes told by a team member on the joker round to earn double points. The most fabulous prizes are presented to the winning team members. Everyone welcome, put your name and email address on the Quiz poster at the next U3A meeting to receive regular invites to forthcoming quizzes.
