Walking
To date we have walked in the Derbyshire Dales and the Lincolnshire Wolds, during the Winter months doing local walks, Summer months we go further afield.
We walk a distance of approx 9 -12 miles, and would welcome suggestions from anyone interested for future walks.
We walk once a month, 2nd Friday of month.
We meet in the village hall car park to share cars and set off from there at a suitable time, between 0730 and 0930, depending on travel distance to start. We return at approx 4.30pm onwards.
We take a packed lunch which we eat on the walk. We do not go fast and always try to take in what is going on around us.
The date is circulated by the group leader, if possible, and the next date is always advertised at each monthly meeting.
