The u3a is the University of the Third Age, an organisation encouraging people who are retired or no longer in full time employment (no age restrictions) to enjoy education and activities in an informal friendly way.
Our slogan is the 3 Ls: Learn, Laugh, Live.
Don't be put off by the "University" bit; think of it as enlightenment, not grey cell cramming.
We have around 500 members and over 50 classes/activities.
