Sarratt & District

Welcome to the website of the Sarratt and District U3A in the Three Rivers District Council area of Hertfordshire.

The University of the Third Age (U3A) was founded in 1982. It is a self-help educational organisation made up of independent groups run by its members. The members are usually semi or fully retired and come together to pursue and share skills, knowledge and hobbies with each other.

If you would like to know more about the U3A, follow the link above to the website for the Third Age Trust.

Sarratt & District U3A was formed in January 2007 and now has a membership of 300. New members are welcome as it gives a fresh inpetus to the branch's activities. Currently there are over 30 study groups which are listed on the 'Groups' page.

Invited speakers talk on a wide variety of subjects, many of local interest. Visitors are welcome to come to these meetings to gain an insight into our activities.

The membership fee is £15 which includes percapita contribution to the Third Age Trust. If you are interested in joining us, please use the email option on the 'Contact' page.
