Book Group

The Sarratt U3A Book Group is now well established with no shortage of reading material. The Group is an informal discussion group for anyone interested in books new, old, fiction or non fiction. A major benefit of being a member of the group is that members are encouraged to read books that they would not otherwise tackle. Another benefit is hearing other people's views.

In the course of a year everyone chooses a book for the Group to read. Copies of the chosen book are then provided by Hertfordshire Libraries. Members take turns to be the nominated Leader for the month. The leader opens up the meeting by saying something about the author which places the book in context.

We meet monthly on the second Monday afternoon of each month at Sarratt Village Hall. If interested please contact eithe Julie Hawkins or Penny Bulgin
