Bird watching
The group members have a wide range of experience and knowledge which has created a very enthusiastic group. During their monthly outings there are regular sightings of birds that many members have not seen before. The record number of species identified in one day is 58
The group meets once a month, normally on the second or third Monday and visits pre-arranged RSPB sites, nature reserves, wild life trust sites and various local bird watching areas. Generally the sites are within 1 hour drive.
