Racketball

Racketball is an indoor court game suitable for older people, providing enjoyment, useful exercise and good company. In the UK it is played on a Squash Court, but with a larger, slower ball and shorter rackets than used in Squash.

We play at William Penn Leisure Centre near to both Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, in the morning on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, from 9.10 a.m. until about 10.30 a.m.
Rackets and balls are provided.

We cater for people of all abilities and at present would welcome any U3A member who wishes to join us. New members can either have a taster session, or if they have played Squash in thier youth, can have the differences between Squash and Racketball easily explained.

We have been operating for since August 2013 and usually have about 6 to 8 people at each event.
