The group gives you a chance to learn from scratch or refresh what you learnt at school, either in small groups or working at a pace that suits you.

Occasionally we add to this with an outing and we met a fully armed Roman soldier at the Lunt Fort near Coventry and saw a luxurious Cotswold Villa at Chedworth. We took a group of members to Chester where we visited the Grosvenor Museum and the Dewa Roman Experience, both of which gave us an intriguing insight into Roman Life in Chester. The group visited Wroxeter, site of a Roman city which was very enjoyable.
