A Life Remembered
Meets: Thursdays, 1.30pm-3.30pm, 1st Thursday of the month
Venue: The Coffee Room of Saltburn Community Arts Association Centre
Group Leader: Louise Moore
Further Details: Send a message using contact button
Our friendly group usually meets on the 1st Thursday of each month in the Coffee Room of Saltburn Community Arts Association between 1:30 and 3:30pm.
We are working together to record and collate memories from our lives to share with each other and to keep for our families to enjoy in the years to come.
Each time we meet we focus on one or two themes or 'prompts' for writing, selected from our 'Memory Jar' and all ideas are welcome! Group members may choose to write about one or both themes each month but only one will be shared within the session unless time allows.
There are currently SPACES AVAILABLE for this group - but, we have also established a SECOND GROUP. So, if you are interested in joining, please come and talk to me at an Update meeting or email me {using the blue bird button - top right of the page} and I will get back to you to discuss this.
Louise

"With the hope that one day, when you're old enough,

When a story is told, it is not forgotten.
It becomes something else, a memory of who we were;
the hope of what we can become."
