We are now in a more relaxed phase response with the lifting of many restriction, however advice is that mass gatherings should not take place.
The advice for those who think they may have coronavirus remains i place, i.e do not to go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital but self-isolate for 14 days. If the symptoms persist or worsen go online to 111.nhs.uk or phone 111. A medical professional will give you advice on what to do next.
Our monthly meetings were cancelled in March, however some interest groups are now meeting where they have 6 or fewer members or are continuing activities via social media. We have kept our monthly newsletter going to keep members abreast of local news.
Our next meeting is due to be the AGM and the committee are working on how best to arrange this before the end of the year.
