Sheffield Visit - Tuesday 5 May - £15 Postponed due to Covid 19

We are planning a visit to the Graves Gallery in Sheffield where we will have a tour of the art works from the Visual arts curator. The Visual Art Collection is extremely varied, reflecting the personal interests of directors and curators over the past 125 years and in particular two main benefactors, John Newton Mappin (1800 - 1883) and John George Graves (1866 - 1945).

After lunch at a local Italian restaurant there will be time to independently visit the Millennium Gallery which has a stunning metalwork collection as well as the Ruskin Collection.

The 2 galleries and the restaurant are all within a few minutes walk of each other and 5-7 minutes walk from the station.

The cost of the curator tour is £180 so if there are 12 of us the cost will be £15. The cost will reduce if there are more than 12 up to a maximum of 20.
