Membership Details and How to Join

Membership entitles you to attend our monthly meetings, join any of our interest Groups, and have access to other local and national activities. Each member household will also receive copies of the u3a magazines Third Age Matters and Sources. The membership year is March 1st to February 28th. Membership is £12 per person. Members of other u3a groups pay £8.50 on production of proof of membership.

Your membership subscription includes a £4.00 Capitation fee which is paid to our national organisation, The Third Age Trust, which provides a wide range of services and benefits including liability insurance cover.

How to Join

- OR print a copy of the form and return to the U3A Membership Secretary:- 2022 membership application form

Ways to Pay
- By internet banking to HSBC Business Account

- By posting a cheque made out to Rutland U3A with a copy of this form to
The Membership Secretary, 6 Coltsfoot Close, Barleythorpe, Oakham LE15 7GB.

- Cash is not currently an option due to restrictions of COVID-19.

Applications may be made at any time during the year.

If you are unable to complete the online form:-
- Once monthly meetings resume, forms can be collected from the meeting at Victoria Hall in Oakham on the 1st Thursday of each month, (except December) at 10am.
- If you cannot access the above forms, a form can be obtained by post by sending an SAE to Rutland u3a Membership Secretary (address as above).
