Bird watching for fun

This is an opportunity to join a bird watching group and share knowledge about birds, visit Nature Reserves and other suitable places.
Since starting out as a very light hearted approach to birdwatching, the group has developed some very good birders - as well as being a very nice bunch of people! We are very lucky in that we have easy access to some of Britain’s best sites for bird watching: the Dee estuary and the North Wales coast. We travel up to Holyhead on the Welsh side and as far as Hoylake on the English side. We have two good telescopes - and the innate ability to find at least one good coffee stop on each visit! The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month. For information about the group and our next trip, contact Lyn Evans
