Seated Exercise

The Seated Exercise class covers the three elements of fitness - Cardio, Resistance and Mobility - but all while sitting on a chair. This group is intended for members who have more limited mobility, or may have conditions that prevent them from doing active standing and lying movement exercises.

the group meets at Market Hill Rooms

Like the other Royston U3A fitness/exercise class, no week is the same; there is a rolling rota of routines to challenge and improve the body for a better quality of life.

Sessions take place on Tuesday mornings, from 10.45am - 11.30am.

If bad weather and/or snow cause travel disruption ...
We are at that time of year when overnight snow, sudden storms and the general onset of wintry conditions can cause travel difficulties on road and rail. Whilst this may or may not affect the roads in Royston and the surrounding villages, it could affect the ability of our trainer to get through to Royston, especially for the morning classes.

So, please be aware of the need to check your email and our Royston U3A Web site for late cancellation of a class. For Keep Fit & Seated Exercise classes, the cancellation may be made as late as 9am on a Tuesday morning.
