GARDEN/OUT AND ABOUT TRIPS (GOAT)
GREAT NEWS
The newly combined Garden/Out and About Trips group (GOAT) restarted in 2022 and has made several outings. We have had 7 very successful and enjoyable trips so far: to Black Country Living Museum, Wentworth House and Garden, RHS Bridgewater near Manchester, Brigg Garden Centre for all the Christmas decorations and gifts, in May 2023 a superb visit to Tissington Hall and Well Dressings, in June a wonderful afternoon tea cruise from Victoria Quays, Sheffield and in November 2023 a visit to York and the Christmas markets. | Thu Jul 11th | VISIT TO RHS BRIDGEWATER This date and the coach have now been booked. Booking forms can be accessed on the website and Val will be at the social meetings with booking forms available. Payment must be received by 11 June. Ideally pay on line (Ref GOAT/name) but cash /cheques accepted. Because of the increase in cost of the coach, unfortunately we have had to increase the cost to £17 for members and £19 for non. members. The good news is we have free entry to Bridgewater. We will pick up at the usual points: Tanyard 9.45 am, then Brecks, Stag, Middle Lane and finally at Corporation Street at 10.am. We will leave the gardens after 4 pm.
