EVENTS
Regular monthly meetings with a guest speaker are held on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Larruperz Centre, Grammar School Close, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7QD starting at 2.30pm. Monthly Meeting Programme
After the speaker there is an opportunity to ask questions, take refreshments and catch up with friends.
Apart from the monthly meeting there are frequent outings to places of local interest or historic buildings. Details of these visits are announced at the monthly meetings. There is an additional cost for these outings. Please check our Outings page for information. More details will be available when known for all trips.
U3A – Ross on Wye - Outings for 2020 - Please note that no refunds will be given if cancellation is within 14 days of the outing unless you can find someone to take your place or there is no-one on the waiting list.
There is also a book stall, where books are recycled for a small cost.

Wed Mar 25th | Outing | Wednesday 25th March - Bletchley Park Bletchley Park following our February talk. There is a one hour outdoor guided tour for 30 people maximum, but the self guided tours are excellent and you can go round in your own time. The cost will be £35 per head and we will leave Wilton Road Car Park at 8.15am. Refreshments are available on site. NB There is now a waiting list for this trip and I would be grateful if you find that you cannot take a place you have booked that you let me know as soon as possible. From 8th January and through first part of February please contact Robin Nicol at the regular monthly meeting so that your place can be offered to another member. “Payment by 1st March please” |

Fri May 22nd | Outing | Middleton Hall - Friday 22nd May Middleton Hall, Tamworth little known gem in north Warwickshire with 18th C walled garden, the Peel Museum and oldest manmade lake in the area. Discovered falling into dereliction by ramblers who raised enough money to begin restoration aided by a £250,000 grant from Amy Roadstone |

Mon Jul 20th | Outing | Stratford Upon Avon - Monday 20th July Stratford on Avon – boat trip and Shakespeare’s School and Guildhall. Both fully accessible for wheelchairs etc. More details to follow. |

Tue Sep 29th | Outing | Tuesday 29th September - Bradford upon Avon The Hall, Bradford on Avon with a short visit on way down to a National Trust properthy. The Hall was the home of Dr Alex Moulton and is left exactly as it was on the day he died. The bicycles are still built in their factory premises in the grounds. In the 1960s, over one-third of the cars sold in the UK were riding on Moulton suspension systems. Tours will start at 2pm and we will leave about 4.30pm at the latest. |
