We meet: First and third Mondays each month, 10.00 to 12.00, in members’ homes.

Our Activities: We are a friendly group seeking to better our French conversation. Our normal pattern is to spend the first half of the meeting taking it in turns to talk (in French, of course) about what we have been doing, sometimes from a prepared script, then after refreshments we engage in listening and reading exercises based on the bi-monthly magazine ‘bien dire’. The standard, whilst not particularly high, is best described as post O level (GCSE), so would not suit a beginner. We also try to have a couple of French themed social occasions each year.
We have set a maximum membership of 10 to accommodate us all in private homes, and we are currently looking for new members.
