Membership renewal
It’s that time of year again and your membership will be due for renewal on the 1st April. Those receiving information by email will receive their renewal forms on or about the 1st March. You will also be able to download the form from our this page opposite at the same time (from 1st March).
If you can, and wish to, please mark the Gift Aid box and sign when you return the form. HMRC requires that we have your correct title, first name and surname. A typewritten name in the signature box is sufficient if returning the form electronically. We are unable to claim gift aid if we do not have a current form. Membership is open to anyone in their third age, defined as being no longer in full time employment or raising a family. The annual membership fee with effect from 01/04/2023 is £15.00 per year, (reduced to £11.00 for members of another u3u). If you wish to pay via a Standing Order Mandate, please download the form on this page, complete and send to the Treasurer, the contact details are on the form.
Members can attend a monthly speaker meeting, which is held, whenever possible, in the Crosfield Hall, Romsey.
Members can join as many of our interest groups as they wish. Some interest groups are completely free, others make a charge to cover incidental costs such as the hire of a venue. Groups that participate in day trips or longer holidays charge accordingly but the overall aim is to keep all costs as low as possible.
Included in the membership fee is the national magazine Third Age Matters
Did you know there are two u3as in Romsey? In addition to Romsey & District there is Romsey Archway u3a. Why not become a member of both and enjoy a wider range of interest groups to join and two monthly meetings? On the other hand, perhaps you are a member of another u3a but would like to join one or more of our groups. Use the link opposite to find out more.
