Rodings & Ongar

Welcome

The u3a movement is a collection of groups (u3as) that run local and online member-led learning for those no longer in full time work across the UK.

Our members live in a large rural community encompassing the Rodings' villages and the market town of Ongar and enjoy three main activities: -

  • Monthly meetings on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at Fyfield Village Hall, Houchin Drive, Fyfield, Ongar, CM5 0RG.
  • Group meetings are held by around 30 groups at which members from Badminton to Bridge where members share a mutual interest which can be recreational, cultural or creative
  • Trips to a varied range of locations including West End Shows, Country Houses and Christmas Events.

Our committee is made up of volunteer members who work together to organise and run our u3a

Our monthly Newsletter is sent to all members by email and provides a vital resource of information on all our activities

Membership is only £10 per annum and open to all who are no longer in full time employment. If this sounds like your thing, please visit our Contacts page
