PLAY READING
Meeting: 4th Thursday at 2.00 pm
Venue: St Monica’s (small) hall in Our Lady’s Church
Leader: Paul Kendall

We aim to read a variety of plays for all tastes. In the past we have tackled works such as She Stoops to Conquer, Pygmalion, French Without Tears, as well as dramatisations of the likes of Pride and Prejudice and Rebecca. Authors have included Agatha Christie, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde and Keith Waterhouse. Farce to Restoration to Modern, we take it all in our stride.

The lights dim, the audience goes quiet, the curtain rises …. and off we go!

We can take on one or two new members at present, so if you fancy being an armchair thespian or just like reading plays for the fun of it (no acting experience required), why not contact David or Margaret via the "Click to send a message!" button and give us a try?
