Movie Makers Group

Meeting:  Usually first Tuesday of the month.
Venue:  Private house
Study Group Leader: Nigel Longman

The Movie Makers Group is for people interested in all aspects of films and film-making. Apart from the regular monthly meetings, the group organises projects to give members the opportunity to grow their film-making skills. Those skills cover a wide range of activities from scripting, producing and directing to lighting, sound and camera operation – not to mention acting too!

To see what we do there’s an example of an extract from a longer film we’ve recently been working on together with a behind-the scenes glimpse of the Group at work which you can watch by clicking on the links:

Although fully subscribed at the moment for regular members, from time to time the Group seeks people with special skills – such as acting, voiceover, or scriptwriting - to help with productions.

If you’re interested in participating please contact Jean Paddick in the first instance. You can do this via the “Click to send a message!” button in the top right hand corner of this page.
