We will give details of our online presentations as soon as our trials are complete
The “Music in Our Time” Group exist to play, explore, illustrate and enjoy the music that has impinged on our lives.
Recent meetings have included a wide range of genres, including the classical works of the Planets Suite and the 1812 Overture, swing music, Jeff Lynne and the ELO, Dave Brubeck, Hoagy Carmichael and a selection of “Desert Island Discs” by members of the Group
Until further notice, ‘Music in Our Time’ will be a virtual on-line meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. ‘Music in Our Time’ covers all music of the 1930s to 1970s that made an impression on us over our lives and includes classical, pop, rock, and jazz music typically heard over those years.
