Computer Users group
Group Leader: David Pattenden
This new Interest Group is aimed towards those with limited or no understanding of computer technology. Members will have the opportunity to share their good - and bad! - experiences with the group; to seek help with problems and to offer advice and encouragement to others. It should also be of value to those considering making their first ventures into this field - possessing your own computer is not essential.
Topics for the meetings will include:-
General Question-and-Answer sessions, 'Popular software packages', 'Setting up Internet & Email accounts', 'Make your own website', 'Good and bad suppliers', 'Security and virus-protection', 'Recovery from faults', 'Household Tasks via the Internet'.
Meetings are held from 10am - mid-day, usually on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at St.Andrews Methodist Church Centre, Tanhouse Lane (for access by car), Church Hill, Redditch, B98 9AA. Free car parking available. Bus routes 57, 58 - ask for Church Hill Centre.
For further information regarding the group, please send an email to the Group Leader using the button to the right.
