Guidelines from the Third Age Trust are to continue to follow the Government and NHS advice on Coronavirus which is that from now on everyone should stop non-essential contact with others and adopt social distancing.
Our monthly meetings have been cancelled for the time being but we are now holding monthly talks on line which are free for members to join. Members will be sent details of the talk and details of how to join in each month. Please see below for details of the talks.
|Dates for your Diary|
|Wed Oct 20th||Our talk this month in the Village Hall starts at 2.30 p.m. Doors open from 2.00 p.m. The talk is:|
Voluntary Emergency Blood Transport by John McCombe
The talk covers the work of SERV Herts and Beds, in particular though as members of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, a brief mention is made of the overall picture.
The Charity is unusual as it is essentially self-funded with no member receiving a penny for what they do and, indeed, with many reaching deep into their own pockets to pay for fuel and vehicle maintenance.
|Wed Dec 1st||Hairspray The Musical - Milton Keynes Theatre 2.30 p.m. performance.|
The price will be £49 to include band A tickets, the coach trip and driver gratuity. Friends are welcome but will need to pay an extra £2.50 to cover insurance.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details or to reserve your ticket. Final payment to be made by Thursday 21st October.
|Mon Jan 10th 2022||A It's not Christmas 3 course lunch at Redbourn Golf Club|
