Guidelines from the Third Age Trust are to continue to follow the Government and NHS advice on Coronavirus which is that from now on everyone should stop non-essential contact with others and adopt social distancing.
Our monthly meetings have been cancelled for the time being but we are now holding monthly talks on line which are free for members to join. Members will be sent details of the talk and details of how to join in each month. Please see below for details of the talks.
The Committee are looking for someone to join them who is willing to organise holidays and outings. There is not a lot to do at the moment and as this year's holiday has been postponed all the details are available for a holiday for next year. If you are interested in this position please contact the Chair on RedbournU3Achair@gmail.com.

|Wed Nov 18th||A SMALL SLICE OF THE BIG APPLE Many districts and landmarks in New York city have become well known through films and TV. 60m tourists flock there annually. This talk looks at some true, some quirky and some downright unusual aspects of the “city that never sleeps”. You will hear about the woman who jumped off the 86th floor of the Empire State building(yes, it has a happy ending) and why a young Bob Hope arrived in NYC wearing three shirts at the age of four! It combines facts, humour...oh yes, and a picture of Mae West, who famously quipped, “I used to be Snow White, but I drifted!" And many, many more fascinating and quirky facts from Neil Sadler.|
