New Members Meeting 2016
A very enjoyable morning was held at the end of March when we welcomed many new members along to see how our U3A works. After enjoying coffee and biscuits, Pete Huntly – our Chairman – welcomed everyone and spoke about the history of the U3A and our U3A in particular. Bob Wren then introduced a selection of Group Leaders who talked about their groups and welcomed any newcomers who might be interested in joining their Groups. Maureen Huntly spoke about Educational Events and Jane Godfrey about Social Events.
The morning was organised by Membership Secretary, Gwen Greenwood. Thanks to all those who helped on the day.
