SERENDIPITY 5
Serendipity 5 started in 2013. Since then we have visited many different places and seen parts of London that some of us didn’t know existed. In the process we’ve made new friends and generally had a good time. Our group consists of some 30 people, with about 20 people on each visit. We share the organisation of the visits, and although our trips are mainly to London where tours have included the BBC, Albert Hall, Westminster Abbey, Kew Gardens and the Regents Park open air theatre. Nearer to home we’ve had trips on the Maldon Thames Barges and a tour of the Thurrock container port.
Our trips are on the 4th Thursday of each month and usually start by catching the 9.46 to Liverpool Street from Rayleigh station, returning home between 5 & 6 pm.
